For those of you who are keeping their fingers crossed that Disney announces a free dining package for 2016, I possibly have some good news. Earlier this week, Disney rolled out a new free dining promotion, discount tickets + $200 Disney Gift Card promotion available in the UK only for dates in early 2017. For those of you who are in the UK – congrats! I know that doesn’t do much for most of us here in the US but I would take it as a sign of good news that Disney is still actively rolling out free dining promotions.
This free dining promotion is a bit unique, let’s take a look at some of the details for hints of what we may possibly see. [click to continue…]
Disney has released their fist discount packages for 2016, these first promotions are for spring stays. One of the most popular promotions that Disney has historically released just about every year is the free dining package. This promotion adds on the Disney Dining Package for free if you book a non-discounted (full price) Magic Your Way room + park ticket package. Disney announced the free dining promotion for 2015 a few months ago but I have already started getting inquiries from readers who are looking into their 2016 trips if Disney will be releasing a package for next year. As I’m writing up this post it’s a beautiful 20 degrees outside (although sunny). Having come from warm and beatufiful central Florida it’s quite a shock to the system going back to weather 50 degrees colder. I just returned from a great trip down to the ‘World to watch my brother run the Disney 10k as part of the Marathon Weekend.
I wanted to share some thoughts, notes and observations from my trip along with some of the pictures I took while there. Overall it was an amazing trip as always, all of the parks are looking good as usual but a lot of construction which I like to see. That means we’ll be seeing some new things coming soon which I’m very excited about. [click to continue…]

Disney World can be one of the best places to celebrate the Christmas season – they don’t miss a beat when it comes to celebrating Christmas in every corner of the parks and resorts. One of the best seasonal events – in my opinion the very best is Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas party which is held at the Magic Kingdom on certain dates in November and December.
